This Trust has general charitable purposes with a preference for Scotland, particularly the West of Scotland and Glasgow. It tends to fund the same charities each year.

The trust objects are widely drawn and include: religion, education, culture, social and physical wellbeing, poverty, and physical and mental disabilities. Priority is given to applications from the West of Scotland but also funds national organisations.

For purposes of benefit to the community in the Nairn area or district through relief of poverty and needs of the elderly, furtherance of education, provision of recreation and leisure in interests of social welfare.

Bellahouston Bequest Fund

The trust's objectives are renewing church buildings & other places of religious worship, relieving poverty or disease, promoting education and safeguarding places of historical or artistic significance.

University of Glasgow - GRID Civic Grant Funds

The GRID Civic Grant Funds have been set up to support communities, and are intended to help local groups make an enduring positive impact for those living, working and learning within Glasgow Riverside Innovation District.
