Summary

The aim of this programme is to contribute to citizens' understanding of the EU, its history and diversity and foster European citizenship and to improve conditions for civic and democratic participation at EU level. It also raises awareness of remembrance and encourages democratic engagement and civic participation through Town Twinning, Networks of Towns and civil society projects.
