Summary

The Foundation aims to advance the wellbeing of people, society and the natural world by focusing on the arts, environment and social action. Grants are made in three categories:

  • Arts: supporting the potential of arts to enrich and transform lives
  • Environment: contributing to greater harmony between people and the planet
  • Social Action: supporting organisations which work to create positive changes in practice, systems and institutions.

It will only support organisations whose work has impact across the whole of the UK. The main reason why applications are rejected is that they do not provide a sufficiently strong fit with the individual criteria of the relevant funding category.
