Foundation Scotland - Greencoat Drone Hill Community Fund

Summary

The Drone Hill Community Fund is a charitable Fund to benefit residents of Reston & Auchencrow, Grantshouse, Coldingham and Cockburnspath Community Council areas. Constituted, not-for-profit groups and organisations working to benefit people in the four Community Council areas are able to apply to the Foundation for grants from the Fund.

The Fund will provide grants to support charitable activities that:

  • Enhance quality of life for local residents
  • Contribute to vibrant, healthy, successful and sustainable communities
  • Promote community spirit and encourage community activity.

A wide range of costs and activities will be considered for funding e.g. equipment costs, running costs for local groups, staff or sessional worker costs, consultations, maintenance or refurbishment of community facilities.

Who can apply

Applicants must have a constitution (governing document or set of rules) and be set up on a not-for-private profit basis. Applicants do not need to be registered charities to apply.
