Supporting Scotland’s vibrant voluntary sector

Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations

The Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations is the membership organisation for Scotland's charities, voluntary organisations and social enterprises. Charity registered in Scotland SC003558. Registered office Mansfield Traquair Centre, 15 Mansfield Place, Edinburgh EH3 6BB.

Summary

The Trust provides grant funding for projects which support the vision of a more sustainable and equal society, where constraints on fossil fuels lead to a more localised economy with stronger, more resilient, communities, and where human activities take account of climate change and the wider environment.

Your project should seek to address the climate emergency and ways of living that are consistent with the resource limits of the planet. They are particularly interested in:

  • Applications from grassroots organisations challenging current unsustainable practice
  • Applicants attentive to equality, equity and fairness
  • Small to medium size projects where Pebble Trust funding forms a major part of project costs
  • Projects where our funding will make a real difference to making the project happen
