The Finnis Scott Foundation - Botanical Art Prize

Summary

Aimed at UK and Ireland botanical art groups or organisations, this award will recognise those who have helped to raise the profile of botanical art and seek to further extend their reach to new audiences. To qualify applicants must demonstrate a recent record of achievement in promoting botanical art.

Regional and national botanical art societies, florilegium groups, independent courses, affiliated groups and other community organisations associated with teaching or promoting botanical art may apply.

Projects might include (but are not limited to) a new education programme or the development of an existing course, exhibition, publication, event or collaborative project.

When to apply

The prize is awarded biennially. The last deadline is 31 January 2024.

How to apply

Please contact the Foundation Secretary before making an application. The application form is available to download from the Foundation's website.

In addition to the application form the Judges require evidence of a previous project that succeeded in promoting botanical art. This should include project brief, budget allocation, project planning and delivery, and audience engagement.
