The Dunard Fund mainly supports culture and the arts, although it has a remit to grant money in any way it see's fit. Recent awards include giving £500,000 to the Edinburgh International Festival to help clear their debts; money was given to the Playfair project which refurbished the National Gallery of Scotland; orchestra's including the RSNO and SCO have been supported.
