The Austin and Hope Pilkington Trust now open

The Austin and Hope Pilkington Trust has opened for the first round of applications this year.

Four grant rounds will open throughout the year, each with slightly different criteria and priorities. In 2020, Grant Rounds 1 and 2 are focussed on music and the arts and will support projects focussing on improving opportunities and access for people with one or more of the following:

  • physical disabilities
  • learning disabillities
  • mental health difficulties

Grant Rounds 3 and 4 will support people aged 60 and over.

Focus: Music and the arts
Open: 1 – 28 February 2020
Amount: £1,000
Eligibility: Income between £100,000 – £1,000,000
Grant Round 2
Focus: Music and the arts
Open: 1 – 30 April 2020
Amount: £5,000
Eligibility: Minimum income £1,000,000
Grant Round 3
Focus: People aged 60 and over
Open: 1 – 31 July 2020
Amount: £1,000
Eligibility: Income between £100,000 – £1,000,000
Grant Round 4
Focus: People aged 60 and over
Open: 1 – 30 September 2020
Amount: £5,000
Eligibility: Minimum income £1,000,000

The priorities for 2021 are: Rounds 1 and 2 – Homelessness; and Rounds 3 and 4 – Refugees and Asylum Seekers.
