Funding for local cycling events

Community organisations can now apply for grants of up to £10,000 to organise beginner-friendly, local cycling events in 2021.

Applications are open for Cycling Scotland's Pedal for Scotland funding. The fund will support community organisations to deliver local cycling events next year, subject to Covid-19 restrictions. Events should support inclusive cycling and highlight local cycling infrastructure and opportunities.

Funding Available

There are two streams of funding available, each with their own criteria:

• Up to £1,000 - Local events for between 50 and 250 people, delivered by community organisations
• Up to £10,000 - Larger events for between 250 and 700 people, delivered in partnership with Cycling Scotland

Deadlines

Round 1 (for events happening before 30 June 2021) - 30 November 2020
Round 2 (for events happening before 31 October 2021) - 12 February 2021
