LandTrust
-
One of the largest environmental bodies in Scotland, LandTrust has facilitated many environmental projects funded by the Landfill Communities Fund (LCF). LandTrust is a Distributive Environmental Body. Since inception, we have received in excess of £11 million from landfill operators to the benefit of over 230 projects. We bring together landfill operators and project applicants seeking funding for a diverse range of community projects: from the repair of historical buildings to provision of leisure amenities and reclamation of disused land. We then manage the funding of the projects and monitor their progress. LandTrust Limited (Company No. SC173735) is a company limited by guarantee, whose members are the University of Strathclyde and The University of Glasgow, and is a registered charity (No. SC040893). It is enrolled as an Environmental Body (No. 312014) under the Landfill Tax Regulations 1996
