We can help new starts through one to one support, workshop and our telephone and web based enquiry serviceFirstport Funding offers a range of funds to help turn your ideas into reality. In partnership with Scotland UnLtd we run a joint awards programme to provide funds to over 100 new start ups focused on delivering real social or environmental benefits to people and communities. Start It is a funding programme that helps budding social entrepreneurs in Scotland to get their businesses up and running. Funding comes from the Scottish Government’s Social Entrepreneurs Fund.

A Build It award is for social enterprises with a track record of trading and social impact and that need salaried positions to take the business to the next level of financial sustainability.
