Perth and Kinross Heritage Trust was established in 1988 to promote, preserve, maintain and enhance the historical, architectural and constructional heritage of Perth and Kinross. The Trust aims to provide and promote high quality opportunities for the conservation, enhancement and promotion of the historic environment of Perth and Kinross.The Trust also awards grants toward a wide range of projects and work relating to the conservation, promotion and understanding of the built heritage. Historic Building Grants are awarded towards building work on Statutory Listed Buildings which involves the repair, conservation or restoration of architectural features using traditional materials and techniques.

Grants to maintain or restore traditional properties within the Perth and Kinnoull Conservation Areas. The aim is to ensure that the grants awarded give the greatest economic benefit to Perth's historical environment.
