The Veterans’ Foundation has established a grants programme to support charities and organisations that provide lifetime support to those in need among serving armed forces personnel, veterans and their immediate families.
They support a broad range of charities and organisations and cover every aspect of social care including:
- Health and Wellbeing
- Unemployment/Education
- Community Hubs/Signposting/Advice
- Homelessness/Housing
- Family Welfare and Wellbeing
- Mental Health Clinical Support

Who can apply
All registered charities and other organizations that support the armed forces community (veterans, serving service people and immediate dependants), including Merchant Navy veterans who have served on operations, may apply.
When to apply
The Grants Committee usually sits four times a year. 2024 deadlines are:
- 30 July 2024 - for a decision in September 2024
- 15 October 2024 - for a decision in December 2024
