The Economic Development Grant Scheme aims to stimulate local economic activity by supporting individuals, businesses and organisations to turn ideas into commercial reality.
Financial assistance is provided to assist applicants with the costs related to developing projects, where these projects meet key eligibility criteria and will result in extensive local benefits.

- Improved product quality
- Import substitution
- New market development
- Improved productivity
- Improved service delivery
- Introduce new or improved manufacturing processes
- Introduce new business activity

Who can apply
Applicants may be sole-traders, partnerships, limited companies, co-operative groups, community enterprises or other legitimate trading entities.

Enquiries can be submitted at any time.
How to apply
Submit an Enquiry Form on the Council website. The Team will then consider the eligibility of your development project and the suitability of the project for a funding application to the Economic Development grant scheme.
