University of Edinburgh Community Grants Scheme
The aims of the Edinburgh Local Community Grants scheme are to: Bring value to new or existing partnerships between the University and local communities; and Have a positive social impact.
City of Edinburgh Council - Community Grants Fund
The Community Grants Fund (CGF) is a small grants scheme provided by the Council. Small grants can be awarded to constituted groups for local community activity. Grants can be applied for throughout the year.
The Wilson Christie Fund
Support is available for organisations benefiting foreign missionaries and older people in Edinburgh and the Lothians.
The Pleasance Trust
The policy of the Trust is to make grants to voluntary organisations in the Edinburgh area which are concerned with the welfare of young people, in particular, through the encouragement of participation in outdoor activities.
The Oak Foundation - Housing and Homelessness
The Oak Foundation seeks to fund initiatives rooted in a deep understanding of the experiences of people facing homelessness, addressing three themes: renter rights; supply and access to affordable homes; and reduction in homelessness.
Cash for Kids Grants
The charity raises millions of pounds each year and awards grants to help disabled and disadvantaged children aged 0 to 18 who are suffering from abuse or neglect, who are disabled or who simply need extra care and guidance.
