Fife Council - Settlement Trusts
The Council has a number of settlement trusts which support projects under a wide range of categories including education, arts, local communities and the environment.
Andrew Paton's Charitable Trust
This Trust has general charitable purposes with a preference for Scotland, particularly the West of Scotland and Glasgow. It tends to fund the same charities each year.
Plum Trust
The Trust aims to relieve poverty and suffering, work to advance education and carry out any tasks beneficial to the community which, in law, are charitable. The Trust tends to favour organisations in the East of Scotland.
W A Cargill Fund
The Trust supports hospitals, institutions, societies and others whose work they believe is beneficial to the community in Glasgow and the West of Scotland.
William A Cargill Charitable Trust
The Trust supports hospitals, charitable institutions and societies within the UK and overseas whose work is likely to benefit the community.
David William Traill Cargill Fund
The trust supports religious causes, medical charities, help for older people and general charitable purposes. A large proportion of the income is given in annual grants.
Holywood Trust
The Trust supports opportunities for young people in Dumfries and Galloway, primarily aged 15-25. The focus is on helping young people move forward in their lives, whether by grants to organisations or to individual young people.

Charities and other organisations can apply for funding to provide holidays for disadvantaged children and their families.
Aldi - Scottish Sport Fund - North-East, Highlands and Islands
The Aldi Scottish Sport fund is a Scotland-wide community-based sport programme designed to make it easier for kids to take part in sports within their local communities by giving clubs the chance to secure funding.
