The programme give grants totalling between £4m and £5m every year to help museums and galleries purchase art for their collections. It can assist with the purchase of works of art and other objects of artistic interest dating from antiquity to the present day. Within this broad category, criteria include: objects of national and international importance, including high value items subject to temporary export licence deferral or being offered with tax remission; objects of significant regional interest judged to be of good museum quality; objects which will artistically enrich collections and support the expansion and development of new areas of collecting.

The Lord's Taverners is the UK's leading youth cricket and disability sports charity dedicated to giving disadvantaged and disabled young people a sporting chance. They provide grants and equipment through separate funding applications for: Sensory Spaces; Specially Adapted Minibuses; Playground Grants; Sports Wheelchairs; Sports Kit.

May be able to fund projects which do one or more of the following: Promote opportunities for people to work, learn, and take parts in the arts, sport or culture; Tackle problems such as poverty, ill-health or drug misuse and problems that prevent people from working, learning or taking part in their community; Encourage children and young people to play a role in their community and offer a good start in life to help them become responsible adults; Strengthen the community by encouraging local people to take responsibility for their community and care for the disadvantaged. Your project must show direct community wide benefit. Common Good funds are available in Arbroath, Brechin, Forfar, Kirriemuir and Montrose. There are also limited funds available in Kirriemuir.

This fund is available to assist tenants' groups by providing: - Start up funding - up to £450 per Association - An annual grant to help with running costs - up to £450 per association - One off grants for special projects.

Gives groups and organisations promoting community safety activities consistent with the Dundee Community Safety Partnership Strategy and Action Plan access to grant aid to deliver locally based responses to identified community safety issues. Funds can be given to support: publicity and promotion; materials and equipment; relevant travel costs and administrative costs.

Community groups can apply for help in funding projects, programs or community events within the city that supports Dundee City Council's General Equality Duty to pay due regard to the need to: eliminate discrimination; advance equality of opportunity; promote good relations across the range of protected characteristics. The general equality duty covers the following protected characteristics: age, disability, gender, gender reassignment, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief and sexual orientation. The equality duty also covers marriage and civil partnerships, with regard to eliminating unlawful discrimination in employment.

Two schemes are available. The Out of School Childcare Grant assistance is up to a maximum of £3,000. The grant is available to constituted, non-profit distributing voluntary groups or organisations that develop and provide a registered out of school childcare service. Organisations are expected to demonstrate that they are moving towards financial stability independent of grants from Fife Childcare Services. The grant is available to support staff wages, inclusion of children with special needs, staff training, improving quality and adaptation to the physical environment. The Transport Grant is to assist Out of School Clubs to meet the costs of transport and escort duties incurred whilst transporting children from the school to the Out of School Care Club, a maximum of £5,000 . Organisations are expected to demonstrate that they are moving towards financial stability independent of grants from Fife Childcare Services.

Fife Council’s Community Sports Grants are available to assist individuals and clubs. The Coach & Sports Officials Training Grant is available for organisations and grants are available to encourage, support and promote the training and development of sports coaches and officials.

The fund aims to support the artistic and creative ideas of young people aged 11 to 25. It will support young people that show ambition, enthusiasm or talent in their chosen art form and require some financial support to develop or promote this further. Funding may also be awarded to those who face significant barriers to access, such as rural isolation or additional support requirements.

The policy of the Trust is to make grants to voluntary organisations in the Edinburgh area which are concerned with the welfare of young people, in particular, through the encouragement of participation in outdoor activities.
